Filming was done aboard Clark Sandler’s Sea Farmer II for the series After The Catch. The Round table discussions with the skippers from The Deadliest Catch.
Anyone that used to pack fish in the 70s knows what the term Mug-Up means.
It is when the boss man hollers MUGGG UPPPP!!!! and all the workers get their coffee break and a chance to get off their feet for 15 minutes of so mid morning or afternoon.
A Great Heron patiently keeping watch for the perfect chance to dart his beak down into the water to snare a small baitfish.

The bird is a Great Egret (Casmerodius albus). Specifically it is an adult in alternate (breeding) plumage.
Here is the first installment of the restoration project updates for the Lazy Daizy Evelina M Goulart. I’ll be doing regular updates to document the progress on this worthy project at the Essex Shipbuilding Museum.
There is considerable deterioration but I’m sure that the folks in charge of the restoration have a solid plan to stem the rot.
