You Still Have Time to Get to The Studio

In case you didn’t know, the Studio Restaurant on Rocky Neck is still open. Starting this week, they will be open Friday-Sunday 11:30am-11:30pm and may only be open for a couple more weeks, so if you didn’t have an opportunity to go this summer, or it was too crowded and you couldn’t get in, now is your chance.

Saturday treat after working the gallery all day: We sat on the outdoor deck at the Seaport Grille. Since my appetite ain't what is used to be, Janet and I split a Wedge Salad. It's always a meal deal – "Wedge of Iceberg, topped with homemade bleu cheese dressing, smoked bacon, bleu cheese and grape tomatoes $11."

Sunday on the deck at the Studio Restaurant on Rocky Neck: We met our friends Sheila and Malva for a meal and drinks. Homie, one huge seagull, checked out the fare on the customers' plates. He left a big tip on the way out!

The Studio of Rocky Neck to Reopen October 6th!

Rumor has it that The Studio will be open the weekend of October 6th and Columbus Day weekend. We’ve watched and waited all summer for the owners of the Rudder to reopen this Rocky Neck establishment. The new construction boasts of an all new interior, large bar under the skylight, back deck dining, large sushi bar and private dock for water traffic. Can’t wait to see the menu!
