Representing at Punkin Chunkin 2013

Hello Joey & Good Morning Gloucester!

Do you remember the pumpkin cannon & team members in front of Cape Ann Brewing Company during Fiesta?

“American Chunker” actually broke the world record while I watched on Friday afternoon.  As the de facto  “home team” for Cape Ann  — Brian Labrie’s distance of 4,694.68 feet  has succeeded in bringing home the Gold…  Viva!!!    Enjoy the photos!

Representing from Cincinnati, Ohio

Two very fun folks. On the left is Heather Chalk, who works at the Mt. Adams Bar & Grill, which was the first bar in Ohio to obtain a liquor license in Ohio after Prohibition. The establishment has a very interesting history: http://www.mtadamsbarandgrill.com/history_bg.htm. On the right is is Ed Gollar, also of Cincinnati, who manages a company, and ironically sells a keychain device, which will measure your blood/alcohol content. You can see it at breathkey.com. Do you think they met in the bar?

Sharon St Clair King and Chuck King are in the gallery for their annual Cape Ann fix. Sharon is always on my Facebook Page, and also on Good Morning Gloucester.

Sharon St Clair King and Chuck King are in the gallery for their annual Cape Ann fix. Sharon is frequently on my Facebook Page, and also on Good Morning Gloucester. They’re holding an awesome dessert from Passports. (FOG is Friend of the Gallery, and FOB is friend of the Blog).

They're picking up this 1884 Cape Ann map tomorrow to take home to Florida. They'll be the only ones in 32162 to have it. The snow birds from 01930 will be envious!

FOB Jeanie MacLachlan Represents

jeanie maclachlan fob from beverly_20 yrs in VT

FOB Jeanie MacLachlan is originally from Beverly but has lived near Mont Pelier, VT for the past 20 years.  She is an avid and regular reader of GMG and visits here frequently.  Here she is representing at Khan Studio and the GMG Gallery.  Later in the day, Donna Ardizonni was walking on Shore Road when Jeanie came up to her and told her she knew her from GMG.  What a small and wonderful world GMG creates for so many.

Representing in Orlando, FL

I just got back from vacation in Florida. I meant to bring my GMG logo sticker with me to take a photo “representing”, but sure enough, I couldn’t find it when I packed my bags… so I got this photo at Universal Studios, Orlando, with the logo on my cell phone screen instead.
