    Hi,
Glad you have a map of eat places!

I have made a picture book of coffee shops all over Cape Ann to share with you. You saw it when we were photographing the Bells return at Our Lady of Good Voyage.

Love your blog or what ever you call this wonderful Good Morning Gloucester.

We had Lamb at the Topside Grill on Roger’s Street. Also noticed their good lobster price.

Hi, The Block Party fest was perfect with families Grandparents Babies and all kinds of interesting dogs and lots of music and food……
We ate a South Easter Ham sub outside Virglios and met lots of new and old friends.
Then we slipped into Siclia’s for coffee and an almoreto cookie. Had to leave behind the lobster tail filled with cream. That’s when we saw all the frozen Italian ices and heard that the gang would be in at 10am today Sunday to cheer the Italian team in south Africa.

  • Love the blog and learning the whole story behind Gloucester. Travedled here as a child for a month in July, every year and now my husband and I have bought a business in Gloucester…Cape Ann Lanes. Al comes from a family that started candlepin bowling in 1940 and we are moving on with the industry. Thanks for the support Joey and Love the Blog

  • Catch22 has a new Manager and a new Chef. I have had 2 wonderful meals there in the last two weeks. I think it’s worth checking it out and reporting back to GMG on! The Chef is very creative with her daily specials!

  • I just ate at George’s Coffee Shop on Washington Street, and it kicked ass. My Eggs Florentine was only 6.95$. It had spinach, tomato and asparagus with lemony hollandise sauce and fresh herbs on top. If I had it any where else it would have cost 12.95 at least. My husband had crab cakes in his benedict, that were pan fried not deep fried. I’m going to try that next time. Very happy and full.

Yes I have eaten at George’s and it is good but you have to wait in the cold ice cream room next door. Yes we enjoy all the wonderful coffee shops on Cape Ann. One winter I made a book of them all in color. But too expensive to get it printed like a coffee table book. I gave one copy to the tourist spot in stage fort park. Wonder if they ever used it for the tourists?

  • I love this directory. It is very cool. I would suggest adding Thai Choice at 272 Main Street Gloucester, MA 01930
    (978) 281-8118 . It’s a great place to visit as well.

    • Eight of us were there last night. The service was amazing. We had three attentive, smiling women making sure we had everything we needed all through the meal. A great experience. God food, good selection of wines and beer.
