I’m so proud of the Market Basket employees that are taking a stand to “not feed the greed” of the deranged board of this once-great local family business. Without Market Basket’s fair pricing, the public will instead pay more to eat by being forced to go to large chains like Stop & Shop, Star, Hannaford, ect. A prime example of this is in Andover MA’s Shawsheen Plaza where a few years ago a long-time (one of the first) Demoulas / Market Basket stores was replaced by Stop & Shop because of Market Basket not owning the plaza like it does everywhere else with it’s winning “landlord+grocer combination” formula. Arthur T Demoulas is THE grocery man and the best leadership for the chain, just ask ANY of his beloved employees. He absolutely needs to be restored to the board. Gooch & Thornton are to groceries what Obama & Biden are to America…a total debacle.
