There are no words adequate to describe that incredible beauty—but I remember it well from my summer days at Niles as a child growing up in East Gloucester. It was magic.

Hands down our favorite sunset spot. Niles dishes up magic time and time again.

Lately, the high tides at sunset have been great for end-of-the-day swims. Orange and pinks dancing across the waves as you dive through them is my idea of heaven.

Just remembered (how could I forget?) that I had my first real kiss on Sunset Rock (the big house and the rock itself) across from Niles Beach, while looking at a summer sky just like this around 50 years ago! Magical.

Personally I prefer The State Fish Pier. Watch a beautiful sunset and feed the Zuchii’s at the same time. Priceless!
