Fred ~ enjoy the mushrooms!
It is wonderful to have a house with no confinements ~ no walls ~ only a frame of a house ~ where you can imagine yourself as anything you would like to be ~ a magic cottage. My father built a magic cottage for my brothers and me ~ we could be king of the castle or mother to dolls. We turned the magic cottage into fun filled days ~ a stage coach, a jungle, a store. A recurring cottage transformation was a battle ship ~ my brother was the “general” of the “late navy boat” ~ yes, in that game, everything was backward. I can remember my father in laughter watching us. I wish I had the “magic cottage” sign that went over the entry way to that frame of a house my father built ~ that magic cottage ~ that taught us we were not confined by walls of any kind ~ any time ~ any place ~
