This takes some very special people to do this – I have seen everything from red tail hawks to eagles out west when I was there being rescued…broken wings, bird shot, vehicle windshields…yep sometimes they don’t want to leave the road kill and get hit or winged by vehicles or run over. Enoch road in Colorado 1994-1998 going to Falcon AFB Then now Schriever had a hawk they just would’nt get out of road and afraid get hit. Stopped car made sure clear put gloves on and moved it to shoulder. Hawk stayed on pole and as soon as I drove away went right back down to business 🙂
