Doesn’t this look like fun and great exercise?! Can’t you see a bunch of these bopping around Gloucester Harbor? I just wonder how easy it would be to get back onto if you fall off out in the water.

You may have hit upon the problem that needs fixing before they become popular. How do you get back on in the middle of the water? And if you had three inch chop or maybe a boat wake, do you fall over?
They make it look like balancing and staying up is easy. I kind of doubt it. On a flat lake where you never venture too far from the dock, might be fun.

And I thought you’d go for one right away and be the guinea pig for the rest of us!

I always had a garage full of things like JC water walkers. This time I’ll rent. 🙂

There is a land version which I have tried (Trikke). It appears both require lots of body movement and would be great exercise and fun to boot. Go for it!

I just looked at the trikke. Similar but not the same motion, and looks like you would need a smooth surface to ride on, which might be the same for the waterbird.

You never know why lies in the room if you don’t open the door and give it try? Mult-purpose and shake things up? 🙂
