About Marty Luster

I'm Marty Luster, a retired attorney and politician. In 2010 my wife, mother-in-law, dog and I relocated from Central NY to Gloucester. I hope my photographs and poetry(?) reflect my love for this place and her people. My picture-poem posts can be seen at http://matchedpairs.wordpress.com and selected black and white images can be found at http://slicesoflifeimages.wordpress.com

Wow, this is just outstanding. You’ve got the goods, man.

Thanks for your kind comments. This was one of those shots when I knew what I wanted it to look like when I snapped the shutter. The smoke in there air gave the scene a soft cast, but I felt that B & W would capture it better than color where it appears as a light yellow haze. Some digital burning and dodging brought drama and mystery.

I am becoming addicted to your work. Each is more astonishing and beautiful than the one before. Keep them coming!

Very beautiful shot and the black-white brings it all out sea fog or a wood house stack? Thanks :-)
