Fish on Fridays

The Fish on Fridays series is a collaboration between Gloucester photographers Kathy Chapman and Marty Luster. Look for various aspects of Gloucester’s centuries-old fishing industry highlighted here on Fridays.

Gloucester’s Intershell International Corporation is in the process of moving their processing plant from The Fort to Blackburn Circle. Monte Rome talks to Marty and Kathy about the state of the fishing industry and his company’s goals. http://www.intershell.biz

About Marty Luster

I'm Marty Luster, a retired attorney and politician. In 2010 my wife, mother-in-law, dog and I relocated from Central NY to Gloucester. I hope my photographs and poetry(?) reflect my love for this place and her people. My picture-poem posts can be seen at http://matchedpairs.wordpress.com and selected black and white images can be found at http://slicesoflifeimages.wordpress.com

I love the industrial tone of this post. That’s the core of Gloucester. Let’s hope we keep it.
