Cape Ann TV announces the selection of new Executive Director, Erich Archer.

“Over the past nine months, the Personnel Committee of the CATV Board of Directors invested considerable time and effort to find the best candidate for the Executive Director position,” stated Paul Jermain, Board President. “After interviewing a number of highly qualified candidates, we felt that Erich’s unique blend of commercial and public access TV experience would enable him to provide strong leadership as the Station focuses on delivering a progressively stronger selection of programs through both traditional broadcast channels and emerging Internet-based outlets. We look forward to working with Erich to build on the rich history of CATV.”

Cape Ann Television is a non-profit membership-based organization dedicated to producing community and institutional programming and to providing public access for the free exchange of information and ideas which reflect the talents, skills, interests, concerns and diversity of the Cape Ann community. The Station serves the City of Gloucester, and the Towns of Essex, Rockport and Manchester-by-the-Sea on Comcast Cable channels 12, 20, and 67. CATV also provides a limited selection of programming on www.capeanntv.org.

  • And he is the wonderful son of Steve and Kathy Archer who purchased the Cultural Center at Rocky Neck to hold it until the Rocky Neck Art Colony could buy it from them over time, at cost…our real estate angels!! Erich is a great guy and will serve CATV extremely well!!
