    WOW!!!!! Having lived there for decades I can relate to the power of the storms/hurricanes. There used to be a land bridge between Shore Rd & Kettle Island and in her pix you can see the waves breaking over that shallow underwater land ridge/bridge. I have see times when the pier was almost destroyed. I used to take my dory out in these storms and have the waves break under me & I would ride some of them into shore. Thanks for the “memory lane”. OH to be young again and do some “stupid” things like ride out viscous storms in a dory & having a fantastic Blast doing it.
