Yes it kinda is !….. My Aunt Catherine always called them italian chocolate almond wafer cookies…this recipe is more cookie like compared to my recipe for real Italian Torrone Candy! … Both use rice paper….It’s avaible on line…. I haven’t decided which recipe will be included in my first cookbook ….I’m in the process of laying the book out now…. Maybe folks can post a comment stating which recipe they would like to see in book one?
I’ve never had the torrone candy so I will have to vote for the Italian almond wafer cookies because they are Out of this World Delicious!

I vote for the chocolate almond torrone and Sistah Felicia almost slapped me when I tried to peal the rice paper off but you eat it! I had some will power and did not eat them all. Addictive.
I’m telling all of you. Both are delicious. I can’t decide. Felicia just surprise us. So glad your my daughter and I get to taste everything. You spoil me and I love it.
