The Fish on Fridays series is a collaboration between Gloucester photographers Kathy Chapman and Marty Luster. Look for various aspects of Gloucester’s centuries-old fishing industry highlighted here on Fridays.
Kathy is away for a week while Marty visits Fisherman’s Wharf Gloucester as FV Athena off-loads its catch of cod, scrod and haddock.

Love it Marty! Is the folded-over piece of paper in the last photo the bill or the check? What you and Kathy Chapman are doing with Fish on Fridays is a valuable historical record. I know, I’ve been collecting images like this for thirty years.

FYI Scrod is a size of fish. Not a species.
I do enjoy the Fish Friday series you and Kathy are doing. Keep it up.

Agree Swimdad. Marty – Keep it up and don’t sweat the details. Being corrected adds to your knowledge, and I welcome that input in the gallery.

Thank you both.
I thought scrod were small cod. Anyway, that’s what the good folks at Fisherman’s Wharf said they were off-loading.
Fred, he’s the captain of ATHENA. I don’t know what the paperwork is.
