Therapy Dog Ivy Puts Everyone to Ease

Deborah Gilbert with Therapy Dog Ivy

The American Red Cross conducted a blood drive at Addison Gilbert Hospital on Saturday, October 27.  Also attending, Red Cross volunteer, Deborah Gilbert, with her therapy dog, Ivy.  Ivy was also at the Red Cross booth at the student health fair held earlier this month at Gloucester High School sponsored by Addison Gilbert Hospital and the school based health center.

Ivy is a therapy dog at Addison Gilbert Hospital and visits the Senior Adult Unit and several other departments.   Ivy and Deborah are in the glory when they are doing what they enjoy best, volunteering and making people happy and they bring a lot of joy to those they visit.
