It was a really nice event this morning! Julie, Sara and the entire Open Door staff are very special people…. our community is very lucky to have each and every one of them….Still thinking about that amazing women who shared her personal story….Wow…I think every person in the room was moved by that…
Many people had tears in their eyes after Amanda Donovan spoke–her story is sadly universal. I think what you wrote–that our community is very fortunate to have the Open Door, and all the people involved, could not be truer.

Congratulations Joey! I haven’t lived in Gloucester long (2 years) but if it hadn’t been for GMG, you and the GMG contributors I would still be in the dark about amazing places on Cape Ann, where to eat, events, and all of the special people that live here. I thank you for that and I hope one of these days to be able to tell you that in person.
