More likely the hub where the three blades join.

  2. jose smoothtrax says:

How tall will they be? How many homes can they power?

    • Fredrik Bodin says:

Each tower, with the blade in a perpendicular position, is 404 feet tall. The turbines will be situated on a hill 150 feet above sea level, which will yield and effective height of over 550 feet. That is approximately 2.5 times the height of the Thacher Island lighthouses.

  3. Fredrik Bodin says:

Each of the three blades is 160 feet long.
