Patti Amaral doing her work

Most people know Patti and all her hard volunteering to keep this city beautiful and clean of litter. She would like to thank Gloucester garden and Civic Club.  Patti will be on Cape Ann TV at 7:30 Wednesday.  Here she is working hard maintaining a garden on Main Street.  She does an amazing job.  Thank you Patti.

  • That little island is so much improved: THANK YOU! The plants you have selected are not only durable, but they’re so cheerful and the various colors so eye-catching. I love lots of color, and you certainly have provided it. You’re an inspiration to all of us who treasure Gloucester.

  • When I am tempted to think the world is going to hell I am reminded of people like Patti, and the woman in Magnolia with the yellow SUV that cleans up everywhere, and the One Hour at a Time Gang and the hundreds of other people in this city who selflessly work to make this a better place to live.

  • People like Patti make Gloucester a better place to live. There’s the obvious reason that she makes the City cleaner and .more livable, cleaning up all over town for years now in her humble way. But there’s also her selflessness and giving nature. She does it because it’s the right thing to do. That rubs off on all of us. I’m lucky to call her a friend and we’re lucky to have her. Thanks, Patti!

  • Thank you all for your kind words, its funny litter and flowers picked me for their spoke person but I have meet so many wonderful people along the way that I wouldn’t change it for the world, except to switch the litter to lollipops and I could give them to all my friends like you. Keep an eye on my pumpkins, they made it through the nite.
