Ann Kennedy Submits-

Looked so serene I couldn’t resist sharing.  You are all so fortunate to have such a gorgeous back-drop for your work and play!

Hi Joey

I took these pictures before sunrise this morning  from Rust Island north of the 128 bridge. Awesome

Smith Cove and My Little Friend From Rick Isaacs

Tonight, while taking this picture of Smith Cove (in the mist which was too-rapidly clearing), I felt something furry brush against my leg. I bent down to pet it, cooing "Nice Kitty!" – only to see a big, fluffy, beautiful skunk scamper away into the darkness!

This poem may not match the picture, but it is of the imagination

    Visions Of Night
    By Peter A. Todd

I gaze upon the stars of the night.
The clearness within all its points.
Such a wonderful and heavenly sight,
Deepening my heart and soul anoint.
A fallen star bright in view,
Making a wish at its descent,
Sparkling moon of white in hue,
Truly, from heaven these were sent.
A shadowed tree is in the morning light.
The Sun rises from the Eastern sky,
As the birds take on their morning flights
From the sound of the rooster’s cry.
Another dawn has come our way
    To brighten our days task.
Thank you, Lord. We now pray
For this day you have cast.
