Joey,

I was snapping around Harbor Loop last night, and got this shot of the Ardelle, I’m not sure about how submissions work but thought it was worth sharing.  I’m Harrison’s son in law, and a daily reader of the blog, keep up the great work!

  1. Len Burgess says:

Wow, a magical picture of the Ardelle. Keep shoot’n these great photos. I will post on the Ardelle facebook site.

  2. Chris, the tall ship Bounty is just that, a full rigged ship, not a schooner rig. Which was why she wasn’t entered in the schooner race.
Great photo of the Ardelle. Saturday, I asked Capt. Robin Walbridge of the Bounty if there was anything he wanted to see or do while in Glosta, he said, Ya, two things, visit the Essex Shipbuilding Museum and meet Harold Burnham. I hran back to Dunkin Donuts where Harold had just been behind Robin in the order line but didn’t find him. He has, apparently, achieved rock star status, even among his peers.
