I have never been a fan of sushi . . . until now. Alma McLaughlin took me to dinner at Madfish to celebrate the successful completion of my Kickstarter project, and I decided to try Jordan and Sang’s sushi. I have to say it is the most incredible thing I have ever eaten. Even if you don’t think you like sushi, you owe it to yourself to try Madfish Sushi. In addition to being masterful sushi chefs, Jordan and Sang are also really cute and the nicest guys you will meet. Don’t take my word for it, try it yourself. Hi everyone out there in GMG land. My name is Ellen “E.J.” Lefavour (a/k/a “Ejay Khan” – the pseudonym I used during my years as a political activist artist). I am a newcomer to Cape Ann, and thrilled to be a new contributor to Good Morning Gloucester. I am a painter and photographer who has lived and worked as an artist for 20 years, since leaving the corporate world in 1990 to pursue my passion. My contributions to GMG will consist of images (either my paintings, photographs, or the occasional video) and a little history about the image, called “Did you Know?” I hope to come up with tidbits of information that people don’t already know, or had forgotten they knew. I wholeheartedly agree. The Sushi at Madfish is an unknown treasure by most folks around here.
I tell people all the time, If you’re going to Madfish, you gotta get the Sushi.
Yes. These guys are awesome. When I get a chance to sneak away from the shop, Madfish sushi is my favorite thing to snag for a change. Goes great with dark and stormys.
