The hot corner down there with Caffe Sicilia, Virgilio’s, West End Sweets, and Cape Ann Olive Oil already all selling interesting delicacies. It’s setting up to be Gloucester’s version of Faneuil Hall.

    We tried West End Sweets on Saturday. It looks like it’s closed permanently. The interior was taken apart, and the sign on the door says “Closed” for all days of the week.
