K-9 “Mako” joins Gloucester Police Department

Mako from the Czech  Republic  joined the Gloucester Police about 7 months ago.  Officer Genove and Mako  gave a demonstration to pre-school class outside the police station.

    i love it when the police, fire and coast guard have these types of community outreach programs.

    these are the people that protect us and i have the utmost respect for anyone who dedicates their lives to serve the public even in the face of danger.

    This was such a great event for the kids! I had the pleasure of being present for this and I’m glad my son, along with all the other children, are able to feel more respect and admiration for our Police Department.

    I saw the car that said K-9 on it but never saw a dog. I think this is a great addition to the force.

    Wow! Gloucester is really reaching far and wide for things these days. Why did they get a dog from the Czech Republic? Are there not any good dogs in the U.S. anymore????
