Lois McNulty Represents! In Inisheer

Hi Joey-

I just got in from Ireland where I spent a fast week with my daughter Nora.

This picture is from Inisheer, one of the Aran Islands off Galway Bay on the west coast.  I thought I was in Gloucester- surrounded by the sea.   Fishing boats, granite everywhere, a bar on every corner, and the NICEST people.  See you soon!

Welcome home, Lois! I live in Gloucester with my Irish husband, whose brother has a home on Inisheer.
Your photo representing GMG made us smile and try to figure out if his house is in the shot!
    Cheers, Lisa and John Dunne

What a fantastic place to visit, and you actually have family there! Lucky.
Funny- while we were on Inisheer, my daughter and I ran into a friend of hers from Somerville. Neither knew the other would be in Ireland. An island of small coincidences! I have lots more pictures, of course, especially of Inisheer and its delightful beach and fishing boats, but this is one of only 2 with the GMG stickah.

  2. Would love to see more photos of the iRISH WORKING WATERFRONT! Thanks, Paul F

Lois- I’m sure GMG viewers would love to see the Irish working waterfront, I know I would. Maybe Paul can post them for you.
