I was just talking to David Calvo about a hit and run that totaled my car, another car and damaged a third. He thought you might be able to post a notice on Good Morning Gloucester. The hit and run happened at 2:00 to 3:00 am Sunday morning on East Main Street in front of David’s Studio.
There must have been extensive damage to the riders side of probably a truck or an SUV. There would be a reward for information - my phone number is 978-281-3020 and address is 245 East Main St., just up the street from David’s.
Anyone who saw something or noticed a damaged vehicle could really help me out.

About E.J.
Artist, researcher, spiritual traveler of this fascinating orb we inhabit, lover of life and all it has to offer.
Hi everyone out there in GMG land. My name is Ellen “E.J.” Lefavour (a/k/a “Ejay Khan” – the pseudonym I used during my years as a political activist artist). I am a newcomer to Cape Ann, and thrilled to be a new contributor to Good Morning Gloucester. I am a painter and photographer who has lived and worked as an artist for 20 years, since leaving the corporate world in 1990 to pursue my passion. My contributions to GMG will consist of images (either my paintings, photographs, or the occasional video) and a little history about the image, called “Did you Know?” I hope to come up with tidbits of information that people don’t already know, or had forgotten they knew. As I am new here, everything is new and fascinating to me, especially the amazing history, so bear with me if I post something that is common knowledge – I’ll eventually come up with something that’s new to you. Please take a minute to comment on my posts, like them or not, especially if you have corrections or something to add, as that is how I, and all of us, learn. Have a Good Morning Gloucester, and a blessed day.
1) EJ, when you post someone else’s post about a hit and run could you lead it with, “this is EJ posted someone else’s post, instead of giving me a heart attack for three seconds.
2) Any update? Is there paint left on the vehicles so the color of the hit and runner can be identified? Any little pieces knocked off? Amazing how you can get make and model from just a little manufacturing code off the chrome thing that goes around the headlight. And they roll a great distance. Worth looking under all the cars down the street.
Sorry Paul – didn’t mean to alarm you. I thought the John Sullivan at the end, and the fact that it happened at between 2-3:00am on East Main Street (a time I and my Annie Van would never be out of our beds) would make it clear it wasn’t me. Hopefully John reads your #2 suggestions, which are good ones.
