Thank you Joe and Company,
I found another great photo to add to my collection in the Atlantic Fishermans collection of my Great Grandpa Captin Nelson Amero. I can not wait to display on the walls of the new Office to be built on Fort Square where he unloaded his catch. If you or anyone else has photos of the Old Cape Ann Fisheries please contact me,
jamero.glosta@yahoo.com
thanks again
Jeff Amero
Did you go down to the archives and see our boy The infamous Fred Buck at Cape Ann Historical Museum? He is incredible at unearthing treasures in the archives!
Two things have been bothering me for a while. The difference between Davis Bros. and Frank Davis. In this collection there is an image of the Davis Bros. Flake Yard where Dad, Slug Ryan, once worked as a youth. He also worked, as many did, for Frank Davis, Booth, FABET, etc.
The other: Where are the sea gulls in all these photos? Lay a fish out now and Homie is all over it!
