Sylvia Tickets to Support The Dog Park Nov 17th

The Cape Ann Theatre Collaborative (CAT) has generously dedicated a night to The Gloucester Dog Park by donating a portion of the proceeds to the November 17th performance of Sylvia to the dog park for the much needed funds to open by park by summer 2012. Please come and support both CAT and Dogs for this great event.
Sylvia is a play about a dog, the couple who adopts her, and the drama that results. It was written by A.R. Gurney and was first produced in 1995. This story about when a mid-life crisis threatens to unravel a marriage and a dog becomes the center of an unlikely love triangle in a heartwarming tale that examines relationships and the search for meaning in life, a hilarious romp that will have you howling for more.
The benefit will be held at Gorton Theater, home of the Gloucester Stage Company, 267 East Main Street, Gloucester, MA. The reception and silent auction begins at 6:00 PM and the performance begins at 7:30. Get there early to bid on great items for both humans and canines! At intermission there will be a free raffle for a prize and be sure you stay for the entire performance as winners for the silent auction items will be announced that evening right after the show.
Tickets are available for Sylvia at the Weathervane, Animal Krackers (Gloucester & Rockport stores) and now The Essex Bird Shop & Pet Supply.
If paying by check, please make the checks out to The Cape Ann Theatre Collaborative. Contact our volunteers if you are interested in tickets or have any questions at gloucesterdogpark@gmail.com

  1. I saw this play when first produced and it’s REALLY good. Strongly recommended!
