how lucky are we?
it takes something special to keep me quiet for 7 minutes. you simply took my breath away.
Glad you guys liked it. Cropping all of those photos and setting all the transitions took quite a while. It was a long process but I think the end result was worth it.
Yes they were, thank you so much for sharing with the rest of us who don’t wake up early enough to see that side of Gloucester.
Great job, Joey! If anyone wants to hear it from a recent emigree, let them speak to me.
Marty
Thanks for sharing Joey. You’ve captured the scenes that I capture in my minds eye and heart every day as I work around this piece of paradise that we call home and what a wonderful musical piece to go with the video.
It’s so beautiful, it actually made me cry. It needs to be on CD or DVD. Amazing job. Thank you for taking the time to create such a beautiful gift for all of us.
That was beautiful!
Tremendous, Joe. Really great. Anyone who loves Gloucester — and even those who’ve never been here — need to watch this video.
Amazing Joey!
This makes us want to visit Gloucester even more….especially, such a beautiful place with great piped in music…every where you go!!!! (and full moons everywhere!)
Wow Joey, that was extraordinary. It’s something I will watch over and over until I can get myself to Gloucester. Thanks.
We’ll be there in two weeks, and my heart is pounding already. Amazing video. Thanks so much.
Absolutely captivating!! I couldn’t stop watching.

PS – I know this is a dumb question but the music?
Once Again, you have given all of us a wonderful gift! Thank you for both taking the photo’s & putting it all together with music. Is the singer Nora Jones? Just beautiful. Thank you, Grammy Kathy
The singer is Flo and the Machine
Thank you for this wonderful, refreshing view of my favorite place. I could feel the cool breeze and fresh air and forget this heatwave we’re having near Philadelphia all this week.
Beautiful…. 36 Years ago in October was my first visit to Gloucester….It has called me ever since! I am fortunate enough my husband also shares the love!!!! 2 years ago we bought a house in Gloucester. When people ask us where we live we always state we live in Gloucester and work in NJ….It’s a hell of a commute but for the most part are there every weekend…living! I now go thru serious sadness missing Gloucester Monday thru Thursday but come Friday…rejoice as i answer the call to Gloucester
i lived in Staten Island for a bit, with a panorama of the backshore at dawn above my office desk in lower Manhattan. a co-worker stopped by desk and said: “You left that to live in this cesspool? That’s where we all want to be. living with that beauty. If i were you, i would move home.” and i did.
gorgeous Joey!
best,
deb
Truly, this is why we live here. Fantastic! Thanks for sharing this, Joe.
Thank you-hauntingly beautiful-
Absolutely wonder-full, Joey. Thanks so much.
Paul
All your photos of sunrise have made me get up before dawn. I’ve seen more sunrises live in the past three years then the rest of my life in total. Now I think I have to get up even earlier. My favorite time of day now, riding my bike or car before dawn finding the best place for another good sunrise. And I haven’t even made it over to Good Harbor Beach yet.
Absolutely breathtaking. And yes, it is calling me. See you in a few years!
Simply stunning, I was moved to tears as well. Absolutely love, love, love living here!
Jenn
Awesome! What a great match of photos to music! My favorite place on earth!
Oh yeah, I’ve heard it all my life. I visit as often as possible, but I can retire in 2 years, 8 1/2 months and then I’ll be there for the rest of my life! I can’t wait!
