The United States Naval Academy offshore Sail Training Squadron Visit

Hi Joey,

Great news! The Rockport Navy Committee and the Town of Rockport will again be hosting the United States Naval Academy offshore Sail Training Squadron. Five 44 foot sailboats will arrive in Rockport on Friday morning and cast off Monday July 11.

Visit our Facebook page (Rockport Navy Committee) for events open to the public.  We also want to let people know that a pancake breakfast will be held on Sunday morning from 8-10AM. For $5.00, you will get a full pancake breakfast and a chance to visit with the Midshipmen. If you could post this on Good Morning Gloucester we would appreciate it!

Feel free to stop by and tour the boats Saturday and Sunday from 1-4.

Enjoy your day,
Faye Anderson

My son will be one of the Midshipmen coming to your city! I am most appreciative of your wonderful hospitality. We are from North Dakota, so this is a fantastic experience for my son. Thank you!

    Mary Ellen,
So far everyone is having a great time and the Midshipmen (as always) are a great group. Maybe Joey will post some pics? Or come to the breakfast tomorrow?
