Dory Help And A Chance To Bid On A Dory

The Dory Committee and boat builder Geno Mondello could use your help this Saturday, May 7th at 1 PM to help move the stored race dories in preparation for our dedication next Friday May 13th at 6 PM both at the Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center on Harbor Loop downtown Gloucester.  This move shouldn’t take long if we get some volunteers, so please make an effort to get there on Saturday!

We would also like to remind all of you to make every effort to attend our dedication and congratulate our sponsors, our organization and Geno for all of their dedication and hard work with this boatbuilding project.  It has been many years since a nest of 4 dories has been built in Gloucester .  We hope to have a strong membership showing to offer our appreciation.  The event will consist of a short introduction and the unveiling of the dories followed by some light snacks and conversation with all attendees.

Lastly, we continue to take offers on our last floating old practice boat.  The initial and only offer at this point is $500.00.  Please respond if you would be interested in putting in an offer!

contact one of our board members below with an offer:

Glenn Harrington – Vice President, neptunemarineus@yahoo.com
Eric Dombrowski – Treasurer, edombrowski@verizon.net

One Response to Dory Help And A Chance To Bid On A Dory

  1. Looked at their site and through these posts and still can’t find a way to make a bid on the dory. Maybe there is a reason why there aren’t any bids? Bueller?
