Peter VanNess going to be the MC for the  Seafood Thowdown at the Boston Local Food Festival on Saturday.  It should be a lot of fun.

Let’s play a game: How many words can we throw out before you realize that you can’t miss this thing? Free. Sustainable. Local. Whole hog, whole lamb, whole goat butchering demos. Fort Point waterfront. Zero-waste. Farms. Beer. Wine. Organic. A seafood throwdown. Non-profits. Cheese-making. A band called “Squeezebox Stompers.” Yeah? Yeah.

Details: 11am-5pm, all ages, free.
