When I saw this spider’s web at first I didn’t realize that all the tiny dots around the nest were teeny tiny baby spiders until I got right up on it with my camera.

wow – amazing and kinda gross at the same time, unless you think of it from a charlotte’s web perspective, then it’s all cool.

That’s a fascinating picture, Joey. You have a very keen eye. I’ve never seen baby spiders on the web; have seen what seemed like millions of them crawling around on rocks near a great lake in NYS.
Aww… a momma spider!
Great Photo.
My thoughts on Spiders;
They live! if they don’t violate my personal space.
(They eat other pests)
They die! if they crawl on my person.
While it’s an absolutely fascinating photo, the mama scares the bejeebies out of me. Almost looks like she has the face of a tigress….or am I looking at the wrong end?
I love it. I should submit my picture. I got so close Joey that you can actually see the hair on his legs. Everyone I have shown the picture to flips out over it. Great picture Joey. Glad you posted this one. Tarantulas are also awesome.
