What do you see when you look at this picture?

Do you see a bunch of junk or do you see a beautifully composed photo?

    I couldn’t resist this when I was reconning that old fascinating place….a BOW and a PLOW….together ?!?!

  2. I see a beautifully composed photo. I’ll shoot it Saturday and add two more bows.

When it is finally replaced with a row of condos it will then truly be a bunch of junk. A commercial marina with restaurants and some retail would be perfect for that corner. Instead we will get another Rowe’s Point condo eyesore.

I have fond memories of Pigeon Cove. Went to preschool at the Steps of Learning Preschool in the basement of the Pigeon Cove chapel. We would walk down the street to the pier, past the then working Tool Company, amazed at the noise, heat, and sights coming from the inside of that old building. It seemed so mysterious back then. Like a dark cave where dragons lived! We would also walk down to the Story Library, that is now someone’s house. I get a little melancholy when I drive by there now. That area is currently a hot spot for flounder. We’ve caught over a dozen nice fat flounder there this spring. Good old memories, and making some new ones with my kids.

I love the picture. No junk in there at all.
