Bass Rock’s Motel Roof ends up on 13th Green

Part of the Roof blew off in Thursday’s storm, and also up-rooted a tree on the 13th green at Bass Rocks Golf Course.  Some Golfers were happy the tree is gone, but Tracey the owner of the motel was not thrilled about the roof.   Click on photos to enlarge.

Shocking photos. I’m glad I was 1,000 miles away for that one (though in a couple months, when it’s tornado season down here in southern Indiana, I won’t feel so glad).

Minor point, though. I’m pretty sure that’s the 3rd green (with the 4th tee and hole in the background of the picture), not the 13th.

What a shame. But at least no one got hurt.
