Halibut Point is nationally renowned for viewing winter birds. Learn the basics of birding, natural history, and behavioral traits of our area’s winter birds such as ducks, gulls, cormorants, loons, grebes, gannets, and alcids. Meet at Halibut Point parking lot.

  1. I missed this last year but I am going this Sunday. There are the weirdest looking birds floating off Andrews Point which I think are some kind of alcid. They look like they came from the arctic or a cardinal mated with a penguin.

    The registration won’t work. Tried different browsers. I guess we will just have to crash the party.
