From 10AM-6:30PM with only a 1/2 hour break for pizza in teh middle of teh day. I have absolutely no idea how many hundreds of pounds of cookies were produced. Insane.

The Bean, Mad were the star bakers at the annual family baking get together. Mad’s cookies were especially delicious because she sang Jingle Bells while adding and mixing ingredients. She was hysterical. The Bean was so intense baking and her father came over and interrupted her. Her comment to him was “No bothering the chef please” Needless to say we all cracked up. She’s the comedien in the family like her Dad Joey.

Lots of flour + lots of mixing and baking + a little Perseco=Lots of laughter, fun and cookies. It was a crazy day in my kitchen, but so much fun to have all of us cooking together. Can’t wait till next year.
