Well the People Have Voted and Captain Joe and Sons took home the Readers Choice Award for Best Place To Buy Lobster On The North Shore! WOOT!

I had promoted on these pages that people vote for their favorite local business in the North Shore Magazine annual award nomination process but never once did I lobby for anyone to vote for us for anything. You can see the post where I asked people to vote for their favorite local restaurant, bag shop, brewery, and many many other listings here- that May 29,2009 GMG post

The secret is obedient lobsters. Joey and Frank take no crap from them, and they become conditioned to be compliant.

People love it when their lobster climbs willingly into the boiling pot.
