Capt Joes HDR

Capt-Joes-HDRJust ran down Capt Joes and took a series of shots and merged them into an HDR photo. I will post a tutorial on how to do this in a future post.

IMG_1913This is a non HDR image. And yes, Joey is the hardest working man in show business..or blog business.

Gotta run and get ready for tonight at Captain Carlo’s for the JJ Nicastro Benefit. Come see Exit 11 and Earl Foote.

What does HDR stand for — it’s a really beautiful technique.

  6. Mike Lindberg says:

HDR is High Dynamic Range. You take a series of shots at different exposures and merge them with software. The key is to take the images with a tripod so all the different exposures can line up correctly when merged together.
