Viewing Schedule of International Space Station from Gloucester

iss_topGoing out on a limb here but I find this interesting. If we have clear weather you should be able to see the ISS with the naked eye. Please follow the schedule below for Gloucester times and for viewing help go to: http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/help.html
The Space Shuttle Discovery will be docked with it for the next few days.

  • Thanks for the info mike.
I will be out there with my “Great Gazoo” helmet on.

  • If you can, get out there and see it TONIGHT.

The shuttle is closing in on the station, so there will be two points of light. By Tuesday, they’ll be docked.

The other item to note is that when these new solar panels are installed on this mission, the ISS will be the third brightest object in the sky, behind the sun and the moon. It will be brighter than Venus.

I hope more people look up to see what we have built.

  • I just brought my two girls out to see the ISS fly over our house in Melrose. Wow! That was intense. Although they are young, they thought it was really cool.
