The Rudder looks wonderful.
For years Jim “Big Daddy” MacDonald, his wife “Lovie” and two boys Jimmy and Billy of Brighton summered in the second floor apartment above the Rudder. They were one hot riot of a family. Big Daddy just passed away a couple of weeks ago. We saw him this summer when he visited my dad and shared a couple of frostys up at the house.
So here’s to progress, recapturing what once was and remembering the legends past.
