I just wanted to let you know how much my wife and I enjoy your blog about all things Gloucester. I started going to Gloucester for summer vacations with my sister, Mother and Father back in the ’70′s. My Mother and Father have since passed away. My sister and her family still vacation in Gloucester as do my wife and I. Many of my families best memories are of Gloucester and our summer vacations there. We appreciate all of you hard work involved with your blog and just wanted to let you know we appreciate all you do and we look forward so much to each one of your new blogs. Thanks so much, we love Gloucester and Cape Ann and you truly bring it to life for us even when we are not there.

The Rudder: Can anyone tell us if an additional dining room has been added, or how the space has been reconfigured? Please don’t make us wait until summer to find out!

Thanks so much for the update of The Rudder. Bill and I just love that restaurant and cannot wait until May when they open their doors to the public. Do you know if they are going to have an “Open House” when they re-open? Please keep us posted…….as you do for all the other events in our beautiful Gloucester.
