Hand Spun Yarns At Present On Pleasant

Is there some kind of knitting revolution going on?   Between these hand spun yarns at Present on Pleasant Street, Coveted Yarns on East Main Street, and Kat Valentine’s knitting blog I feel like there is some devious secret knitters plot brewing.   Be aware people, they’re all around us these knitters!

There IS a knitting revolution going on! Knitting is creative, fun, useful, artistic and studies have shown if lowers your blood pressure and increases your concentration — much like meditation does.

There are so many creative people in this area that it is a wonderful place to be. There is a knitting group that meets every other Sunday night from 6-9 at the Congregational church. Stop by Coveted Yarns for more information.

Plus knitting has many ties to maritime arts. Visit my web site at MermaidShawl.com!

    Thanks.

    Joe,
Come on by sometime, neighbor. Saturday mornings there is free knitting instruction. Bring your own supplies or buy ‘em in the shop. Join the revolution. We have a yarn that is part shrimp and crab shells but nothing yet with lobster….

I’ve been meaning to get over there. What are your hours?

Next time I’m on the north shore, I’ll be looking for Kathleen’s yarn shop.
Love your blog Joey, I’m going to put you on my blog roll. (not that anyone visits my site). It’s fun to have a local view it. Thanks for visiting my blog. We knitters are very passionate!!
