We had a lobster molt at the dock this morning. It’s somewhat rare so I documented it for you to see the process. Video will be coming tomorrow morning.

This is one of the coolest pics I have ever seen. Reading about the molting in Corson’s book was interesting, but to catch this picture in full color, just awesome. Is the new tail as soft as the body looks? Are the smaller legs starting to harden up yet? Would love to see some pictures over the first few days post-molt to see any changes.
